Sena Maria at one point trusted doctors more than herself. It was a major upgrade for her to come to the realization that she did not need to outsource authority over her body. She knew she could heal herself, starting at the level of story and belief, instead of looking for cures through pharmaceuticals. This lead her into the medicine path, and she began to sit in ceremony with master teachers such as cacao, psilocybin and ayahuasca. And while these plant and fungi spirits did offer major life lessons, in addition to a new community, as time wore on, she realized that the medicine community was disassociating from cyclical living. Her own body was becoming more depleted, rather than restored, by working only in the spirit realm.
And so she was grounded back to earth, quite literally, by meeting the spirits of the minerals. She now understands her body as healthy when she is a complete electromagnetic circuit, producing energy and eliminating toxins.
Now she supports women to embrace a nourished, resilient and radiantly healthy state as a Mineral Nutritional Balancing Practitioner. She focuses on rebuilding our mineral heritage and removing toxins to get to the root of our health issues. Learn more at her website or follow her on IG sena__maria.
What’s new with Jo and Mary Lou
Jo is hosting a six-month course in dreamwork, Dreaming a New World. Each month, we dive deeper into a conscious dreaming practice. We cover sleep hygiene and dream recall, plant spirits to induce lucidity, lucid techniques, using our dreams to set specific intentions in waking life — including healing body, mind, and spirit. Whether you sign up for one class or all six, you’ll be added to our private dream group. All of this for only $15/class or $66 for all six. You’ve missed the first class on dream recall, but the replay is still available. The second class, Plant Spirit Allies, is this upcoming Sunday. 8/18. Register here.
Mary Lou is teaching a course on the rite of passage of menopause, Crossing the River of Blood and Fire. You will learn about the biological and emotional changes, managing symptoms, and receive psychospiritual support in community.
She was also recently a guest on the Subject to Power podcast, and the episode turned out incredible!
